If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went. ―Will Rogers
I have always been an animal lover and owned pets but my life changed in 2011 when my young Labrador, Bella, was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease & elbow dysplasia at the age of 12 months.
While I was struggling to find a way to help improving her quality of life I came across Bowen.
The improvements in my dog incited me to train in the technique with the European College of Bowen Studies and subsequently I have trained with the European Guild of Canine Bowen Technique.
Bella then went on to guide me along my own journey as Bowen Therapist and helped me to make decisions that would change my life.
Right at the start of my Bowen training, I was astonished to learn that the body is an amazing entity, with extraordinary capacity of self-heal. I was amazed that such a gentle therapy could have such dramatic effects.
I have since developed an interest in holistic bodywork and its effects on the physical and emotional wellbeing of both people and animals.
For me the miracle lies in the fact that doing so little produces so much relief.
I now work professionally as Bowen Therapist for both people and dogs and I offer my service in London and Surrey. My mission is to improve the health and comfort level of all dogs and their owners.
I feel blessed to have found a calling that gives me the opportunity to learn from and connect with so many extraordinary animal beings each day. Animals show me by example what it means to be honest, patient and to love and play without reservation. I can’t help but honor the role they play in helping me to live my very best life, the way I was meant to live it.
I am fully qualified and insured to treat people and dogs and I undertake continuing professional development courses every year.
I am a full member of the Canine Bowen Technique Association (CBTA) and of the College of Bowen Studies (CBS).
Bella remains my teacher and loyal supporter during this journey. Thank you Bella for coming into my life.
